In today’s increasingly diverse communities, it is essential to tailor evidence-based programs like Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors (AP/OD) to meet the unique needs of all families, including Indigenous migrant populations. This FREE workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to adapt the transformative AP/OD curriculum and facilitation methods to effectively engage and empower Indigenous migrant families
You will learn about strategies and best practices from our AP/OD implementing partner, Mixteco Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP), adapted to support their local Indigenous communities including Mixtecs and Zapotecs. This workshop is ideal for AP/OD facilitators, program coordinators, educators, and community partners working to promote family engagement, early childhood development, and educational equity in diverse communities.

This online workshop is designed for 3rd Edition implementing partners this can include certified facilitators, program managers, and administrators who oversee the AP/OD program for their organization/agency/school.
