The last few years have been a time of great duress for every individual – be a child or a family – impacted by a worldwide pandemic, difficult economic times, fraught political climate. Many of these factors have caused anxiety and stress directly impacting health, relationships, learning process, and overall well-being. While we may not have control on these huge outside forces, we can facilitate strategies to remain on a path of safety and health. For AP/OD facilitators, the session will provide a road map of practical strategies as we move forward in positive and individual ways.
Are you a young parent looking for resources. Bring your family and join us for an art, printing and storytelling workshop and to learn more about additional resources available to you.
Join us as we kick off the 2023 New Year by centering the voice of families to advance solutions that honor family's needs. This webinar will launch the 2023 National Latino Family Report. Dr. Gabriel Sanchez (BSP Research), Amalia Chamorro (UnidosUS), Javier Martínez (Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors), and Melanie Cardenas (Parent) will share the results of this comprehensive parent/caregiver survey and interviews that point to the needs and opportunities of Latino families. The conversation will specifically focus on children 5 years old and younger, including expectant families. The 2023 Latino Family Report will serve as a tool for communities and partners to address issues as they relate to our youngest children and families.
